Here's how your weekend will look:
Wednesday: It works just like any holiday flight. Grab your passport and head to the airport at least 2 hours before take-off. Then sit back, relax and enjoy the flight. Once you’ve reached the other side, passed customs and immigration at Vienna Airport, your SportsBreaks reps will be there to point you in the direction of your hotel transfer. Check in is usually around 3pm, but don’t worry if you’re there before, the hotel will store your bags, so you can head straight out. You’ll find a SportsBreaks notice board in your hotel reception. This will display all important information and transfer times for the weekend. Your SportsBreaks reps will also be around if you have any questions.
Thursday/Friday: The day is yours to enjoy in Vienna. Hop on the nearest train, tram or underground line and explore all the capital city of Austria has to offer. Or, as your chosen ticket covers the whole weekend, make your way to Spielberg on Friday and get in that extra day of F1 action.
Saturday: If you’ve added a return Saturday transfer to your package, here’s the plan: Grab some breakfast and meet in reception for your early morning transfer to the Red Bull Ring (approx 08:00). When you arrive at the circuit, your coach will park in its allocated spot and your onboard rep will let you know what time to be back after the race. You’ll be a short walk from the entrance and ready for an amazing day at qualifying. The transfer back to Vienna will be at approximately 18:00.
If you’re not heading to the track today, the days yours to enjoy - why not check out what Vienna has to offer?
Sunday: Race day is upon us. Good news - we’re all heading to the track today. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then meet in reception for your circuit transfer (approx 07:00). When you arrive at the Red Bull Ring, your coach will park in its allocated spot and your onboard rep will let you know what time to be back here after the race. Then, it’s over to you to enjoy a fun-fuelled day of racing. You’ll have a fantastic day. The transfer back to Vienna will be at approximately 19:00.
Monday: After a great weekend, sadly it’s time to head home. You’ll need to check out by 12-noon (some hotels may have slightly earlier/later check out times), but as you’re on a later flight, the hotel will store your luggage, so you can enjoy your last day in Vienna.
Keep an eye on the noticeboard in your hotel for pick up times. When it’s time to leave, the coach will pick you up from your hotel and your onboard rep will let you know which check in desks you’ll need to head to when you reach the airport.
Please note: Morning transfers take around 2.5 hours from hotel to circuit. Evening transfers can take around 3 hours or more depending on traffic and when the local authorities decide coaches can leave the circuit.
