The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix bigger and better than ever. Also known as 'Imola' you can expect emotion, adrenaline and high levels of competition with the drivers battling it out to be on top step of the podium.

Situated 40km east of Bologna, Imola hosted it’s first Formula 1 World championship race in 1980, formerly known as the San Marino Grand prix between 1981 and 2006. After it’s 14-year absence, Imola returned to host the 2020 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix and has remained on the calendar since.

It’s a Grand Prix that promises great settings, culture and fingers crossed…weather! And this won’t start and finish at the circuit entrance. Bologna is where you will be staying, a city that will provide you with an authentic Italian experience known for its Spanish styled red roof tops and home to the oldest University in the world with the opportunity to indulge in the Italian cuisine, the local nightlife and experience an F1 weekend abroad.

Here's how your weekend will look:

Wednesday, Thursday or Friday: Simply start exploring! Check in opens at 3pm, but don’t worry if you arrive before, the hotel will store your luggage so that you can head straight out.

Saturday: If you are heading to qualifying to today, you will have a train ticket included in your booking that will take you from Bologna to Imola and you have a 20 minute walk from the station to the circuit.

Or alternatively you can make your own way by taxi. If you’re not heading to the track today, the day is yours to enjoy! Why not check out what Bologna has to offer.

Sunday: Race day! Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then make your way over to the circuit for an action packed day. It’s over to you to enjoy a fun fuelled day of racing. You’ll have a fantastic day!

Monday: After a great weekend, sadly, it’s time to head home. You'll need to check out by mid-day (some hotels have slighter earlier or later checkout times), but if you're not quite ready to leave yet and want to enjoy a little more time to explore Bologna, the hotel will store your bags.
